There is an 1.5 hour dolphin sightseeing cruise on the Dolphin Quest that leaves at 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm, and 4:00 pm from John’s Pass Boardwalk. Cost is $17.50 for Seniors. Tour the picturesque Boca Ciega Bay and watch its playful residents--the bottlenose dolphin--swim, jump and entertain you. If you'd like to assure yourself of a space for this fun, you can call for a reservation at
As you can see, the beach is wide and deep. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent and this may be one of the best times to take advantage of that service. There are restrooms nearby, but they can be a 4-minute walk from the water's edge. Procrastinators take heed!
