The Barefoot Beachcombers are heading for the Caribbean next January 17, 2015, for 8 nights aboard Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas. The Independence was built in 2007 and underwent a re-vitalization in 2013.

Katie Kurek from Laura Kane Travel (of Ocala) has secured a generous allotment of desirable cabins for our group. We hope our choice of ship and itinerary appeals to your beach-loving nature and the all-inclusive price appeals to your more practical side. Currently, we have 68 Barefoot Cruisers preparing to board the incredible Independence of the Seas for a fabulous 8 Night Cruise. On May 15th, 2014 Royal Caribbean will review our group allotment and request a percentage of un-booked cabins be returned to their General Inventory to accommodate new bookings. Once we return cabins, we loose our group rate, and new bookings are subject to availability and an increase. We can share that current applicable rates for our sailing have increased $137.00 to $257.00 per person, category pending. Currently, we do have cabins remaining in all categories offered, with the “PR” Promenade Cabins and the “D-2” Balcony Cabins being most popular and limited. If you are contemplating joining our group, please make your reservation to avoid a rate increase. Please keep in mind that your deposit is fully refundable until October 24th, 2014.
