Liability Waiver:  The BBC has a revised Liability Waiver specific to our club.  Even if you have signed a liability release form in the past for our club, we are asking that you sign the revised one. This will only need to be done one time; not yearly as in the past.  Please click on link below, print and sign, and give the form to your bus leader on this trip.

You can snooze for about 2 hours on our way home.

Unfortunately, we were unable to find one local restaurant which could accommodate our large group for dinner, so we decided to adjourn to the nearby Largo Mall where you can choose to dine at any of the following restaurants:

Chili's  *  Sweet Tomatoes  *  Olive Garden  *  Buffalo Wild Wings  *  Red Lobster   

Jimmy John's  *  Panera's  *  Fondue and Sushi  *  Beach Pizza Plus  *  Firehouse Subs

Recognizing that Florida’s emerging spring blooms will be spectacular in April, we will journey in the late afternoon to nearby Largo to be enthralled at the lush Florida Botanical Gardens.  Admission is free.

You can choose to stroll the grounds on your own, or pay $5 for an informative docent-led walk for up to 1-¼ hr.  (They would appreciate your participation as it is one of their few means of raising funds for their extensive gardens.)  If that time is a little too long, you can always break away at any point and relax on a shaded bench.  However, you must be able to independently find your way back -- without falling in -- to our departure point.

However, to relieve any concern about that, there is also one very nice restaurant (Guppy’s) immediately across the street and two more (Keegan’s Seafood and TJ’s Italian) within one block of the beach.  They report that they are busy this time of year so you may want to have lunch soon after dropping off your gear on the beach.  You can, of course, bring your lunch from home.  However, if you choose to have lunch at any of these restaurants, you may also use their restroom to freshen up rather than the modest restroom at the beach.

This is a simple beach with rental equipment available, and outdoor shower facilities, but a small restroom, as shown below.
